Our premier community-based competition that gives young athletes of all ages and abilities the opportunity to play the game we love, year-round.
The EJBC runs across two structured seasons, ensuring consistent opportunity for participation as well as pathways for player growth and development:
Summer Season: Term 4 & Term 1
Winter Season: Terms 2 & 3
This model provides continuous opportunities for juniors to engage, learn, and compete in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
With the support of 8 member clubs and schools, EJBC caters for players from Under 8s through to Youth League (U23s). The competition is tailored to suit young basketballers at every stage, offering age-appropriate divisions and game times proven to work for families.
Saturday Mornings: U8s, U10s, U12s, U14 Girls
Friday Nights: U14 Boys
Wednesday Nights: U16 Boys
Tuesday Nights: U18 Boys, Youth League (U23 Men & Women)
The EJBC isn’t just about competition — it’s also a proven pathway to representative basketball. Players with the drive to take their game further have the chance to progress into our Eastside Knights Representative Program, which competes at state and national levels.
Whether you are new to the game, returning after a break, or looking for the right environment to grow your skills, EJBC has a place for you.
